Indian Premier League is a platform where young stars get to showcase their amazing cricketing abilities and launch themselves higher into their careers. Also, it is a way to show off how good they are for some of the more interesting characters that have played in IPL and one such personality is Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder Hardik Pandya.

Pandya, who is having a stellar IPL 2019, with the bat, came to the rescue of his team against Sunrisers Hyderabad, after he had put them in a quandary as Manish Pandey hit his last ball of the 20th over for a six, when seven runs were needed and extended the match into Super Over. With nine runs to get, Pandya hit the first ball from Rashid Khan for a six, to ensure no undue things happened and Mumbai Indians won the Super Over to qualify for the playoffs.

Hardik was warming up in the dugout during the Mumbai Indians’ batting in the match. With Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav going great guns, Pandya knew it was about time for him to go out and smash some sixes to help MI reach a big total. Hardik has made 373 runs in 13 innings with a strike rate of 197.35 and has hit 28 sixes and 26 fours to help MI put up a formidable total in many matches.

Pandya here was having a bar of chocolate in the dugout, while all padded up. Just then, an SRH player ran past him and Pandya quirkily offered him a bite, which of course the opposition player denied and Pandya acknowledged it with a nod and carried on eating his bar. The video of the incident has garnered many views and has gone viral on social media.
