Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders are two teams which have the perfect blend of youth and experience in their squads. This has perhaps been one of the reasons why both the teams have done relatively well up until now. Delhi has more or less performed well in all the departments. Their bowling has clicked nicely, but they will want their top order to be a bit more attacking and consistent.

KKR possess one of the most destructive middle order and will be happy with the performance of their pacers. However, they will want their captain, Dinesh Karthik to come to the party as well and for their experienced spinners to perform much better. With a short ground and plenty of explosive batsmen in both the teams, these are 3 players you can look to exclude from your team for this game.

Here are 3 players who could be excluded from your Dream11 Fantasy team for DC vs KKR game:

1. Kuldeep Yadav (8.5 credits)

Kuldeep Yadav’s downfall has been inexplicable. After having a great start to his career, he has looked down and out in the last 18 months or so. He has been lacking confidence and it seems as though batsmen have figured out how to play him.

In 3 games this year, he has bowled just 54 balls and has picked a sole wicket, that too of a tailender. The fact that Kuldeep wasn’t introduced till the 16th over in the last game, despite the opposition losing half their side in the first few overs, shows the captain Karthik’s lack of trust in Kuldeep. Sharjah is definitely not the best venue for Kuldeep to find form and hence should not be included.

2. Sunil Narine (9.5 credits)

Sunil Narine hasn’t had the best of the starts to this year’s IPL. He hasn’t been able to contribute anything with the bat. He has scored just 24 runs in 3 games and has match after match struggled against quality pace bowlers. With the likes of Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje in the opposing team, he is unlikely to be able to do much with the bat in this game either.

While he hasn’t done too badly with the ball, with 2 wickets in 3 games, he hasn’t extracted much turn or deceived the batsmen. With the extremely small ground, he may struggle to contain the batsmen too. Hence, Narine can be excluded from your line up for this game.

3. Axar Patel (8.5 credits)

Axar Patel has had a decent season so far picking 2 wickets in 3 games at an excellent economy of less than 5. However, in the last game, skipper Shreyas Iyer was hesitant in using him against the left-handed David Warner and didn’t bring him into the attack until he was dismissed.

With KKR having 3 quality left-handed batsmen in the top 6, and short boundaries to go along with it, Iyer may be even more hesitant in using Axar. On top of that, Axar hasn’t been able to provide much with the bat either. You could opt for some other all-rounder who can provide more value in this particular game.
