The spectacular display of IPL 2020 is all set to unfold from September 19 in UAE. All the teams have been going full throttle in their endeavours to shine out the best in the upcoming league. As per BCCI rules over all these years, the season opener is set to take place between the defending champions Mumbai Indians and runners up of last season Chennai Super Kings on September 19. Both the heavyweights will be at their top-class to steal the glory.

While franchises have been going through the final leg of their practice sessions, each and every team is coming with something new to stand out from the rest. Doing something different becomes all the more important when a franchise is still struggling to etch their names on the winner’s list. In the same light, RCB’s bowling coach Adam Griffith came up with an interesting ‘Yorker Challenge’ to sharpen the skills of his bowling lot.

Safe to say all our bowlers are sharpshooters: RCB

The Twitter handle of RCB posted an amazing video and captioned it- “Our bowling coach, Adam Griffith, comes up with a fun and challenging competition to help our bowlers fire in those yorkers. Safe to say all our bowlers are sharpshooters!”

Analyzing the video, coach Griffith can be seen making a perfect rectangular space covering the wickets and then marks various points for bowlers to focus. Now, in order to deliver to a perfect Yorker, a bowler has to target the three red markers kept in the front. By hitting the front markers, a bowler gets five points, and they keep rotating their shifts as evident in the video.

The bowlers got rolling one by one, and to everyone’s amazement, all of them displayed a decent class. The bowlers who aced the perfect Yorkers were Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar, and Mohammad Siraj at the end. The atmosphere around the players can be seen so dazzling and full of life, where all are pushing each other to perform better.

Impressed by the perfect Yorker attack of Siraj, skipper Virat Kohli jumped and hugged him out of the sheer joy. The franchise is looking completely motivated and excited to clinch their maiden IPL Trophy.
