Anuj Rawat is an uncapped wicketkeeper-batsman from Uttarakhand. The 20-year-old cricketer plays for Assam in first-class cricket. He made his name in the domestic circuit the inexperienced player might not get a chance to showcase his talent in the IPL this season. Rajasthan Royals is known to provide a platform for the young cricketers to play in the pressure situations but the team combination doesn’t allow the inclusion of the southpaw.

The Jaipur based team has Jos Buttler as one of the prime players. The English wicketkeeper is set to feature in all the games this season and an opportunity for any other stumper looks unlikely. Sanju Samson is another keeping option for captain Steve Snith if required. Samson plays as a genuine batsman and has been successful at the top order in the IPL.

The only chance this Uttarakhand lad could get would be as a batsman in the middle order. Though that department of the Royals also looks well equipped as Robin Uthappa, Riyan Parag, and Mahipal Lomror will feature in the line-up already starred by the presence of Steve Smith and Ben Stokes. The budding cricketer might have to wait till the IPL 2021 to showcase his talent in the arguably biggest T20 league.
