Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders will take on each other in the fifth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 on Tuesday. The teams have started their campaign in the ongoing competition in contrasting manners. Mumbai Indians started their title defense with a 2-wicket loss at the hands of Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Asked to bat first, Mumbai Indians scored 159 for 9 in the allotted 20 overs. Debutant Chris Lynn top-scored with 49 for the reigning champions. The Rohit Sharma-led put up a good fight with the ball but the score was just not enough to defend against a batting line-up comprising the likes of Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and AB de Villiers.

KKR, on the other hand, started their campaign with a 10-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad. Asked to bat first, the two-time champions scored 187 for 6 in 20 overs. Opener Nitish Rana top-scored with 79 while Rahul Tripathi scored 53. In reply, SRH finished their innings on 177 for 5 despite the fifties from Jonny Bairstow and Manish Pandey.

Here are the players whom you can make C or VC in Dream11 Fantasy for KKR vs MI game:

Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav has been one of the most consistent batsmen in IPL in the last three seasons. The right-handed batsman has contributed with the bat consistently for Mumbai Indians and the franchise would be hoping for a similar performance from him. In the tournament opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore, he got the start but failed to convert it. The Mumbai star scored 31 off 23 balls with the help of four fours and a six before being dismissed by Kyle Jamieson. With form on his side, Suryakumar will be looking to score big against his former team in the upcoming game.

Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill failed to get going in KKR’s first game. The young opener looked good and also hit a sumptuous six off T Natarajan before departing for 15. The right-handed batsman was KKR’s highest run-scorer in the last edition of the IPL and would be looking to score big against Mumbai. A big score against the defending champions in the upcoming game might set the tone for another good season for Gill.

Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan has been in red-hot form in recent times and has the potential to be one of the best in the ongoing tournament. The left-handed batsman recently impressed for India when he scored a blazing fifty on his debut against England, In the game against RCB too, Kishan looked good and got the start but could not capitalise on it. He scored 28 off 19 balls against RCB.
