Chennai Super Kings are all set to play the Rajasthan Royals in a league match of the IPL 2021 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 19. As the two teams meet, there is a pool of 22 players who you can pick in your fantasy teams.

However, it is important to understand what are their current forms, how well have they performed in a certain kind of condition, or if there is any particular weakness of a player which can be exploited by the opposition. With all these factors in mind, let us take a look at the 3 players whom you should avoid in your fantasy team for the match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals:

1. Dwayne Bravo

Dwayne Bravo’s role as an all-rounder has slowly and slowly diminished in the Chennai Super Kings line-up over the years. He is currently batting at the no.9 position, only behind Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar. Hence, not often will you see him coming to bat at a time when he can construct a substantial inning.

With the ball as well, he has been used slightly lesser than what it used to be earlier and his impact as a bowler has also reduced. He doesn’t pick as many wickets as he used to. With a host of other options from bowlers, it is better to avoid Bravo at this point in time.

2. Shardul Thakur

Shardul Thakur has been bowling some really expensive spells in this season of the IPL so far for CSK. He hasn’t looked at his best on the Mumbai pitch. His strength is the variations with which he bowls, but on the Mumbai pitch, these variations have not been proved to be effective.

He didn’t pick up any wickets in the previous match. With some decent options to pick from the bowlers, there are more chances that the other options will be successful on this kind of surface.

3. Rahul Tewatia

Rahul Tewatia is a leg-spinner and if you have looked up the stats of the leg-spinners bowling on the Wankhede pitch, you know that they have not been very successful. Tewatia’s fate has been quite similar to that of the other spinners bowling in Mumbai.

He has been hit for runs in the two matches so far and he hasn’t been consistent with his lines. With the dew being a factor in matches in Mumbai, it becomes difficult for leggie to control the ball. Given these conditions and his recent form with the bat, it is better to pick any other all-rounder in this contest.
