IPL 2021: 3 players to avoid in fantasy teams for CSK vs PBKS game

Chennai Super Kings are all set to play their last league match of the Indian Premier League 2021 against Punjab Kings in Dubai on October 6. CSK has already qualified for the playoffs while Punjab has a very slim chance of qualifying. In fact, saying the chances are slim is an understatement. Despite that, this match presents fans with a good opportunity to get some fantasy points. 

Here are 3 players to avoid in fantasy teams in CSK vs PBKS game: 

1. Ambati Rayudu

Ambati Rayudu has played some vital knocks for the Chennai Super Kings team in this tournament so far. He is in fact coming into this match with a wonderful fifty under his belt in the previous match. However, what is evident is the fact that he doesn’t get equal opportunities every day.

Since getting demoted to the middle order, Rayudu has got only limited opportunities to go and get a big score. His batting performances are generally cameos. On top of that, there are top-order batters in this contest who have been performing well and it is better to go and select them instead of choosing Rayudu. 

2. Deepak Chahar

The right-arm pacer had started the tournament with some good performances but in the last few matches, he has failed to pick up wickets regularly. With the new ball, he is effective but he doesn’t pick up wickets every day. Instead, there are bowlers like Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Shami, who are better picks in this contest. There are a few more options, who have managed to pick up wickets on a regular basis. Deepak Chahar’s bowling can be effective for CSK, but it won’t really help you to get many fantasy points. 

3. Moises Henriques

Moises Henriques made his first appearance in the second leg of the IPL 2021. He turned up with a fantastic bowling effort, taking 3 for 12 from his four overs. However, those are not the figures that are easily replicated. He is a good bowler but he might not get enough from the Dubai wicket to work his magic as he did in Sharjah. His batting position in this Punjab Kings team also has some issues, as it doesn’t allow him to bat longer and score substantial runs to fetch a lot of fantasy points.
