Mumbai Indians are all set to face Delhi Capitals in the 46th league match of the Indian Premier League 2021. Delhi has qualified for the playoffs and has won enough games to be assured that they will hold a top-four spot. On the other hand, Mumbai is at a better place than they were a match ago, yet, this is a must-win fixture for them. As the two star-studded teams face each other, it will be a great opportunity for fans to earn fantasy points.

Here are 3 players to avoid in fantasy teams for the MI vs DC game:

  1. Rahul Chahar

During the first leg of the IPL 2021 in India, Rahul Chahar was having a ball of the time. He was picking up wickets for fun and deceiving batters left and right. This got a place in the T20 World Cup squad as well. But, since the UAE leg has started, his form hasn’t been all that good. He has picked up only two wickets in four matches and hasn’t been really successful.

Against Delhi, his chances of succeeding are pretty less as well, considering that Delhi has some really good players of spin bowling. He might end up not getting a wicket, but even if he manages to sneak one here and there, it won’t help you fetch a lot of points.

  1. Quinton de Kock

Quinton de Kock is one of the more top-class batters in the world right now. In white-ball cricket, he is actually rated as one of the best openers. Now, in this tournament as well, he has been one of the few batters in the Mumbai team who has scored valuable runs for the side.

However, despite all sorts of qualities, de Kock has an issue or two. One of them is playing off-spin, like most other left-handed batters, while he actually struggles against genuine pace bowlers. Delhi has Ravichandran Ashwin, who surely will be used against de Kock. If he doesn’t get him, you might see a fiery spell from Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada, knocking him over. It won’t be an easy day out for de Kock to make some runs.

  1. Shimron Hetmyer

The West Indian batter has looked in a good nick in the past couple of months. However, there is no point in denying that, in this Delhi Capitals unit, he isn’t getting at the right position to bat. The kind of batter he is, Hetmyer would’ve preferred to bat at no. 3 or no. 4.

However, he is not getting chances. Despite batting out of his regular position, he has scored some runs, but because he comes to bat late in the innings, it is not always given that he would make a huge contribution. In this contest, there are better options as a batter, who can get runs and points for you.
