Royal Challengers Bangalore is all set to face Delhi Capitals in the last league match of the IPL 2021 season. Both the teams have qualified and a win for Delhi won’t add anything more than confidence. Having said that, RCB would want to win this game and try to finish in the top two, the chances of which don’t look too bright. However, it is a good chance for fans to collect some fantasy points.

Here are three players to avoid in fantasy teams in RCB vs DC game:

  1. Mohammed Siraj

The Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer’s responsibility seems to have evolved with time and he seems to have been assigned the role of someone who can keep the scoring down. Having said that, there is a lack of rewards. He hasn’t really picked up wickets on a regular basis and has not managed to fill up the wickets column more regularly. He has picked up only one wicket in six matches. Now, his contributions might be crucial for RCB but aren’t going to help you fetch a lot of fantasy points. There are other bowlers who can be picked.

  1. Prithvi Shaw

The young Mumbai batter had started his season with some solid performances and was looking quite invincible in the Indian conditions. However, ever since he has come down to the UAE, his form has experienced a dip and he has not really got going in this time. He has scored 11, 10, 6, and 18 in the four innings he has played so far and can be avoided for other batters who have shown consistent performances. It will be a wise decision to pick players who have got going and are in form. Just to add to that, it is worth noting Shaw didn’t have a good season last time around when the tournament was hosted in the UAE.

  1. Kagiso Rabada

After finishing with 55 wickets in 29 matches through the last two seasons of the IPL, the South African speedster hasn’t really performed at that level this year. Rabada has taken 13 wickets in 12 matches. That is not a bad record by any measure but in this contest, there are bowlers who have picked up wickets more than him and more regularly as well. Harshal Patel and Avesh Khan are classic examples of bowlers who have enjoyed a fair amount of success this season and should be backed to get the job done in this contest as well.
