Rajasthan Royals in their previous match couldn’t take a single wicket. Their bowlers struggled, failing to adjust to the conditions. On the Mumbai pitch, they will now take on the Kolkata Knight Riders, who have also lost their last match at the same wicket against Chennai Super Kings.

Both the teams have some really good players who will enjoy playing in these conditions. It will be interesting to see how the match turns out, but it will be crucial for fans to understand which player will not have the best time during this match. Here are 3 players who you must avoid in the fantasy teams for the match between Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders:

1. Shreyas Gopal

Shreyas Gopal’s campaign for the IPL 2021 has been slightly indifferent. He played the first match game for the Royals, then missed a few in the between, and then came back to the side for the previous game. However, in these two games, he bowled only six overs, conceding 75 runs at an economy of 12.50. It is not just him, spinners, especially leg-spinners have struggled a lot in Mumbai. Once Royals move ahead and go to play on some other venue, at that time, Gopal might play an important role, but in this game, he isn’t likely to.

2. Shivam Dube

The left-handed batsman did get some runs in the previous match with the bat but given the choices of batsmen and all-rounders in this match, it is better for you to avoid the Mumbai batsmen. His record in the previous editions has not been good because he wasn’t used properly at a familiar position. In this match, you can pick players like Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Manan Vohra, who are top order players and have more chances of getting runs. Dube hasn’t bowled in the tournament a lot either, making it plausible that he might not do it in the next match as well.

3. Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi started the season with a brilliant fifty in the first match against Hyderabad. However, since then, his numbers have dropped. His runs have dried up and the batsman has not been able to turn around his fortune. It doesn’t help the fact that not a lot of batsmen around him have played well. In this match, from the batsmen, wicketkeeper, and all-rounder categories, there are much better options for you than Tripathi. He would be feeling the pressure ahead of this match. It is better to place your bet on an established player than him.
