More often than not, the fans outwardly express their love for cricket and the players. It is a no-brainer that over the years, MS Dhoni has been one of the most celebrated cricketers in the world. Be it his calm nature or his street smart brain, the cricket on-lookers have always cherished watching him on the 22 yards.
Though the former skipper bid adieu to international cricket last year, he continued playing for CSK. The fact that the fans go beyond their limits to catch a single glimpse of Dhoni further explains his aura and craze among his followers. In the final of IPL 2021, the CSK captain wasn’t even able to hear what Ian Bishop was saying at the toss as the fans were all roaring when the man took charge of the mic.
It further garnered the audacity of the occasion when during the match, a fan was spotted with a banner in her hand with a special message for captain cool. As soon as the camera was panned on her whilst KKR’s chase, the pictures of the fan went viral across the social media accounts.

The fan had a banner in her hand that read, “Mahi tum jaha hum waha (Mahi, wherever you go, we will follow)… all the way from Chennai to Dubai to watch you play. CSK PLEASE GET THE CUP HOME. Fangirlforever #Yellove.” The Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings undoubtedly have one of the largest fan bases in the country.
In every season of the IPL, the ardent fans of the Men in Yellow pull out some or the other stunners that exude their love and passion for the team.

About the match, CSK had entered their ninth final when they took on KKR on Friday, October 15. CSK’s openers yet again stood tall for the team and provided a flying start to the side. The team eventually posted the target of 193 for KKR. The Eoin Morgan-led side started the chase quite well but eventually lost wickets and couldn’t reach the target.
