IPL 2021: Aakash Chopra picks his ideal playing XIs for DC vs SRH match

The 33rd Match of the second leg of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will see the Delhi Capitals (DC) taking on the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) outfit. And, ahead of this clash, former Indian cricketer and current commentator, Aakash Chopra has picked his ideal playing XIs of both sides on his YouTube channel.

Aakash Chopra feels that veteran batsman Shikhar Dhawan and youngster Prithvi Shaw should open the batting for the Delhi Capitals (DC) side. While Chopra slotted Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant at No.3, the returning Shreyas Iyer will take the No.4 spot in Chopra’s lineup.

Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, and Axar Patel will occupy the next 3 spots in the side, while veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will walk in at No.8. The 3 pace bowlers whom Chopra picked for this clash are Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, and Avesh Khan.

Aakash Chopra reckons that David Warner will open the batting alongside Wriddhiman Saha for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) side. While Manish Pandey will occupy the No.3 slot, skipper Kane Williamson is slated to come in at No.4.

The No.5 slot will be a toss-up between Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma, while one out of Vijay Shankar and Abdul Samad will occupy the No.6 slot. While West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder will come in at No.7, Afghanistan’s champion spinner Rashid Khan is slotted in next.

The three pacers who will complete the SRH lineup for the encounter against the Delhi Capitals are Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, and T Natarajan. Currently, the Delhi Capitals are stationed comfortably at the second place in the points table, while the Sunrisers Hyderabad side is languishing at the last place.
