The cricket fans experienced a blockbuster Sunday full of entertainment, thrill, and excitement as the spectators witnessed two nail-biting IPL matches. The afternoon affair saw Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) locking horns against Kolkata Knight Riders at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

In the evening affair, Delhi Capitals were up against Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Sky Sports, one of the broadcasters of IPL, managed to upset their subscribers and cricket enthusiasts as they made a big blunder while telecasting both the games on Sunday.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) scripted a comfortable victory against the Knight Riders by 38 runs. The afternoon match concluded around 7:30 pm and at the same time, the clash between DC and PBKS commenced. However, instead of telecasting the evening affair, Sky Sports continued showcasing the post-match ceremony of the RCB vs KKR clash.

It was only after eleven minutes that the broadcasters realized their mistakes. Till then, three overs of the DC vs PBKS match were bowled and the subscribers had to give them a miss. The same left the viewers miffed as they took to social media to express their disappointment and discontent over the mishap.

Many accused Sky Sports of wasting their money and threatened to leave the platform. According to Sky‘s website, a package that includes Sky Sports Cricket costs £44 a month.

RCB scripts a stunning victory over KKR

Coming to the matches, Royal Challengers Bangalore scripted a comprehensive victory over the Knight Riders to become the only unbeatable side in the T20 Extravaganza thus far. The Bangalore outfit is now placed at the top of the points table with six points under their belt from three matches.

The match between KKR and RCB commenced with Virat Kohli winning the toss and electing to bat first. In the first innings, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers executed some brilliant power-hitting to propel RCB towards a massive total of 204 runs.

Chasing 205, KKR lost their wickets quickly and thus failed to put up a good fight. For RCB, Kyle Jamieson emerged as the highest wicket-taker with three wickets while Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel had two under their belt.
