Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is all set to make a comeback in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) while leading his franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the hope to make them win their fourth title. For the same reason, Dhoni along with his other CSK teammates has reached Chennai to practice and train for the upcoming T20 Extravaganza.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to host IPL 2021 in India from April 9 to May 30 after hosting the previous edition of the league in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The marquee tournament will be played at neutral venues to dismiss home advantage for any of the eight franchises.

A video from the Super Kings training camp in Chennai has managed to stun the cricket enthusiasts and is going viral on social media with many people sharing it on their social media handles. The video features MS Dhoni getting bowled by a 22-year-old pacer, Harishankar Reddy.

Harishankar Reddy was picked by CSK

During the IPL 2021 auction, hosted by BCCI on February 18 in Chennai, CSK had roped in Harishankar Reddy in their squad at his base price of INR 20 lakhs. The right-arm medium pacer made his debut for Andhra Pradesh in the domestic circuit in the shortest format of the game in 2018 and thus far has represented the state in 13 T20s.

In 13 T20s, Harishankar has picked up 19 wickets at an economy rate of 8.34 and an average of 19.3. He also has 19 runs under his belt at an average of 9.5 and a strike rate of 15.7. The 22-year-old has featured in 5 List-A games too scalping 8 wickets at an economy rate of 5.03 and an average of 25.4.

Coming to the delivery bowled by Harishankar Reddy in the viral video, Reddy ran from over the wicket and bowled the ball at a good length from a wide-angle. The ball came in sharply and managed to beat the former Indian captain by the lack of bounce. Dhoni tried to push the ball towards the leg-side but failed to do so as the delivery successfully uprooted his leg-stump.
