Delhi Capitals is going to play their next match against Mumbai Indians and it will be a thing to see how Capitals can have their top-two finish in the league. Ahead of the game, former Indian cricketer, Irfan Pathan came up with a way to deal with the young gun and Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant. Since Pant has been exceptional against slower balls, Pathan told a way to tackle him.
Pathan added that the best way to get going against any batsmen is to get his wagon wheel done and the bowler can have an idea how to place a delivery against him. In the case of Pant, Pathan told bowlers to go really wide as he tackles slower ones very well. The former cricketer also added how to tackle the likes of Steve Smith.

Delhi played their last game against KKR where they lost the match by three wickets. Pant played a fine knock of 39 runs to get his team going but there wasn’t much support from the other batsmen.
“I think we were 10 runs short, not much. We knew that the wicket would slow down in the second innings. But the end of the day each and every team is trying to win the match and we just want to give our 100% on the given day. If it goes our way it’s fine, if it doesn’t we will learn from our mistakes and move on. It (batting) was pretty difficult especially for the new batsmen because the wicket was getting slower and slower,” said Pant after the last game against KKR.
Delhi will be playing their next game against MI where the goals of the two teams will be entirely different. While MI will fight to have a playoffs berth, DC will aim for a top-two finish to have two chances of making it to the finale
