Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have managed to cease their losing streak in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team, captained by David Warner, beat the Punjab Kings (PBKS) by nine wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Punjab-based team could never garner any momentum and crawled to 120 all out in 20 overs. Mayank Agarwal and Shahrukh Khan got 22 runs each, but both couldn’t carry on and score big.

In the run-chase, the Orange Army looked comfortable and never pressed the panic button. In the end, they got home with eight balls to spare. The win took SRH to the fifth position in the points table. As far as the Kings are concerned, they became the new cellar dwellers after three losses on the trot.
