After the clash of the table toppers in the evening, the night match will witness a clash of two teams with contrasting results so far. Delhi Capitals have 3 wins and 1 loss while Sunrisers Hyderabad have 1 win and 3 losses. A win for the Sunrisers not give a sharp boost to their qualifying chances, and ensures that a lot more teams are equally competing for the top-four.

Both teams registered comfortable wins while chasing low targets in their respective last matches, both being in Chennai. It will be the last match at the Chepauk this season, as both the teams would be showcasing their heavy top-order batting and some quality bowling.

Lets look at the important stats and numbers before the start of the IPL match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals:

1 – David Warner needs 1 more run to complete 200 sixes in IPL. He will become the sixth player to reach the mark after Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni and Kieron Pollard (Raina who is also on 199 sixes may reach the mark earlier in the day).

46 – Runs required for Warner to complete 10000 runs in Twenty20 cricket. He will become the fourth player to reach this milestone after Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard and Shoaib Malik.

51 – Five more runs for SRH’s icon to reach yet another milestone. At 51 runs, Warner will become the first player to score 4000+ runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

8 – Rishabh Pant who scored 2167 runs for Delhi Capitals in the IPL, requires only eight more runs to overtake Virender Sehwag and become the second highest all-time run getter for the Delhi Capitals. The top of the charts is Shreyas Iyer at 2200 runs, who is not playing the season due to shoulder injury.

37 – Jonny Bairstow needs to score 37 runs to become the fifth player with 1000 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. The other four are David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey.

57.86 – Batting average of Kane Williamson against Delhi Capitals, which is the third highest for any player in IPL (min: 10 inns). Only Ajinkya Rahane and Virat Kohli have higher averages against them.

11 – Kagiso Rabada has taken 11 wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad, which is the highest by any player against SRH in IPL. Amit Mishra and Chris Morris are tied at the second place, with 6 wickets each.
