The upcoming clash of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 will see defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Kolkata Knight Riders at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Both sides have made contrasting starts to the UAE leg and it would be interesting to see how this encounter unfolds. While MI are coming off a 20-run defeat against Chennai Super Kings, KKR thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore by nine wickets in their last outing.

Ahead of the game, former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer took to Twitter and revealed his players to watch out for. While many cricket experts are giving their predictions and opinion before IPL matches, not many are more creative than Jaffer. Instead of mentioning the names directly, Jaffer posts riddles, challenging fans to brainstorm and find the answers.

Wasim Jaffer challenges fans again

In his latest post, he shared a merged picture of veteran Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn and a British officer from a movie. With the caption being “#MIvKKR #IPL2021,” it was apparent Jaffer mentioned his players to watch out for in the game. The comment section got flooded in no time as fans were quick to find out the answers.

MI all-rounder Krunal Pandya and KKR pacer Lockie Ferguson emerged as the popular picks. While decoding Ferguson wasn’t too tough as the pacer sports a similar look to the British general in the picture. As far as Krunal is concerned, the all-rounder once called Ajay Devgn his doppelganger. Using the same context, Jaffer made the post.

Meanwhile, Krunal couldn’t do much in his last outing against Chennai Super Kings. The left-arm spinner gave away as many as 27 runs in just two overs. He failed with the bat as well, scoring four off just five balls. Nevertheless, the senior Pandya is a proven star of this format and Jaffer backs him to do well in the upcoming game.

Speaking of Lockie Ferguson, the New Zealand speedster bowled with hostility in his last out against RCB. He made the ball talk and scalped two wickets. Moreover, he gave away just 24 runs in his quota of four overs. Hence, KKR would want him to put up another match-winning show.
