Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore will play the Eliminator game of IPL 2022 on Wednesday. The winner of this game will play the second qualifier against Rajasthan Royals on Friday. LSG has won 9 out of 14 games in the league stage and finished third in the points table. RCB won 8 out of 14 matches and finished in the fourth position.

RCB defeated LSG in the only match between them this season by 18 runs. They made 181 runs for the loss of 6 wickets while batting first. In reply, LSG made 163 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Faf du Plessis had scored 96 runs off 64 deliveries and won the “Player of the Match” award.

Here are 3 players you can avoid in your fantasy teams for the LSG vs RCB game:

1. Evin Lewis

West Indies opener Evin Lewis is known for his attacking batting style. However, he has not been able to replicate the same in this season of the league despite playing 5 matches. After 4 matches, LSG dropped Lewis from the playing 11 and was included again in the last game against Kolkata Knight Riders. However, Lewis did not get to bat in that match but, did pick an outstanding catch to dismiss KKR’s, Rinku Singh. Apart from an unbeaten half-century against CSK, Lewis has not made a significant knock this season.

2. Siddarth Kaul

After being a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2016 to 2021, Kaul found a new home in the IPL 2022 auction. RCB bought him for his base price of INR 75 lakh. He had a great run in the 2017 and 2018 seasons of the league as he picked a total of 37 wickets at an average of 22.4. However, he has not been able to enjoy the same success since 2019. He was included in the playing 11 by RCB in the last game against Gujarat Titans in place of Mohammed Siraj. He opened the bowling for RCB in that match and gave away 43 runs in 4 overs without picking any wicket. RCB might include Siraj in the playing 11 for this important game which means that Kaul will have to sit out. Hence, you can pick other bowlers who are highly likely to make it to the final playing 11 of both teams.

3. Krishnappa Gowtham

LSG is the fifth franchise for Krishnappa Gowtham after MI, RR, PBKS, and CSK. LSG shelled out INR 90 lakh to pick him up in the mega auction. The 33-years-old all-rounder from Karnataka was a part of the CSK set up last season and was bought for a whopping sum of INR 9.25 crores. LSG already has an all-rounder in the form of Krunal Pandya and hence, it was expected that Gowtham might not get many opportunities. He has played 4 matches this season and has made sure that he picks at least one wicket in each of these games. However, he has been in and out of the team regularly. In the last game, he found a place in the playing 11 to replace Pandya, who suffered a niggle. Pandya might make a comeback if he is fit enough and replace Gowtham.
