The 2nd game of IPL 2016 followed the template of the first game as the home team Kolkata Knight Riders crushed Delhi Daredevils by 9 wickets at their home ground Eden Gardens, Kolkata. DD were bowled out for just 98 after been put into bat by KKR. Daredevils looked like starting off well with 24/0 in 2.1 overs but collapsed against the likes of Russell, Hogg, Chawla and Hastings. No batsman could manage to score 20 for Delhi.
Chasing 99, KKR got off to a great start with Uthappa and Gambhir putting on a 69-run stand. Uthappa departed for 35 but Gambhir remained unbeaten on 38 to ensure a big along with Manish Pandey. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the game.
