The 9th season of Indian Premier League has finally witnessed some rain as it played a key role in the match between the Rising Pune Supergiants and the Sunrisers Hyderabad. RPS defeated the home team by 34 runs as per the D/L method. After being put into bat first, SRH managed to score only 119/8 in their 20 overs. Their innings got off 1 hour late and moisture in the air produced movement for pacers. Shikhar Dhawan was the lone warrior for Sunrisers and was unbeaten on 56.

RPS lost Rahane for a duck but Faf du Plessis and Steven Smith with their 80-run partnership got them into a winning position. Faf and MS Dhoni got out just before rain came back again and didn’t allow the game to resume. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the game.
