Playing XI-

Mumbai Indians:

Rohit Sharma (C), Parthiv Patel (wk), Ambati Rayudu, Krunal Pandya, Jos Buttler, Kieron Pollard, Nitish Rana, Harbhajan Singh, Tim Southee, Mitchell McClenaghan, Jasprit Bumrah

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

Chris Gayle, Lokesh Rahul (wk), Virat Kohli (C), AB de Villiers, Shane Watson, Sachin Baby, Stuart Binny, Sreenath Aravind, Chris Jordan, Varun Aaron, Yuzvendra Chahal

Virat Kohli said: “I think I need to get the coin from Sholay, no matter what I do I lose the toss. Rohit is spot on. Two games before, we were nowhere and now we are among the top five-six teams. We have the right kind of momentum coming into today. We just have to put the runs on the board now. The surface looks pretty dry, similar to the game against Pune. Whichever team bats well and whichever team can restrict the other will do well. Aravind is coming in for Abdulla and Gayle is back for Head.”

After winning the toss MI skipper Rohit Sharma said: “We are going to bowl first. Crunch game for both teams. As a professional unit we have to concentrate on the process than thinking about the result. Need to think about playing good cricket and not look at the table. Our focus basically has to be on good cricket. Hardik Pandya misses out and Nitish Rana comes in.”

The Royal Challengers Bangalore host Mumbai Indians in match no. 41 of IPL 9 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Mumbai Indians have won the toss and decided to bowl first.
