Being asked to bat first KKR captain Gautam Gambhir said: “We were looking to bowl first as well. They are obviously a good chasing side, but the toss isn’t in your hands. Andre’s was a freak injury, can’t do much. Hopefully Jason will do the job.”
After winning the toss Gujarat Lions skipper Suresh Raina said: “We are going to bowl first. We have played D/N games here, ball comes on nicely. Three changes for us. ED (Eklavya Dwivedi) comes in place of Nath. Shivil is not playing as well as Tambe, Jakati comes in and I’m also playing. So we have 2 left arm spinners. When you have too many options, you get confused. So we’ll stick with the 5 bowlers.”
