IPL 9 has reached its midway stage with almost each time trying to nose ahead of the other. A win can help the sides from the bottom four to jump to the top 4. With the Rising Pune Supergiants registering a key win against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, they have swapped places with the Royal Challengers Bangalore to get to the 6th place.
The Sunrisers maintain their 4th spot with 6 points despite their defeat. Delhi Daredevils will stand a chance to jump to the 2nd place in the points table if they beat the Gujarat Lions today at Delhi.

The Orange Cap is still with the RCB skipper Virat Kohli, who has been in scintillating form this season with 367 runs. He is followed by Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner, who remains at the second spot following a duck in the match against the Rising Pune Supergiants. Ajinkya Rahane, who was placed at the 6th spot prior to the match against SRH, could not add a run to his tally of 223 runs and remains at the 6th spot. His opening partner, Faf du Plessis, who made 30 off 21 balls the other night has jumped two places to the number 8 spot with 206 runs in 6 matches. Aaron Finch from Gujarat Lions and Quinton de Kock from Delhi Daredevils will have a chance to climb up the ladder in the race to the Orange Cap.

Gujarat Lions bowlers Pravin Tambe (13th spot) and Dwayne Bravo (11th spot) will have a chance to break into the top 10 against the Delhi Daredevils.
