The emerging European nations are going through tough times as the expected first edition of the Euro Slam got cancelled less than a month’s time before the tournament. However, the rain gods weren’t kind enough to allow the first match between Ireland and the Netherlands.

The weather is expected to spoilsport on the 2nd day of the tournament as well. Showers are expected on Monday but the chances of those come down during the match timings. If the rain stops by the scheduled start of play, we could have at least an interrupted match.
