Irfan Pathan promotes diabetes campaign at Thumbay Hospital in Dubai

India all-rounder Irfan Pathan visited the Thumbay Hospital, Dubai. Pathan was at the hospital to endorse its diabetes awareness campaign ‘Count Your Steps to Beat Diabetes’. Irfan was welcomed by Dr. Ashutosh Sood, Chief Operating Officer of Thumbay Hospital Dubai, Dr. Sameer Kumar, Assistant Administrative Director of Thumbay Dental Hospital Dubai, and other members of the administrative team of Thumbay Hospital Dubai. Accompanied by them, Irfan went around the hospital and had a look at the facilities there.
He was there to endorse the ongoing diabetes awareness campaign titled “Count Your Steps to Beat Diabetes.” Patients and onlookers rushed to catch a glimpse Pathan, he met and the crowd obliged for photos and autographs.

He has been on the sidelines due to injuries. Pathan, who last played for India in 2012, still believes that the dream for a national team call-up is still very much alive for him, after a memorable comeback recently in the first-class season where he claimed 12 wickets and scored over 90 runs in two matches for Baroda.
