England and Pakistan clashed in the first of the two-match Test series at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground last week. The visitors were impressive in all the departments as went on to win the game comfortably by 9 wickets on the fourth day itself. Amidst all the action, Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan was spotted enjoying the game during one of the days and the picture has gone viral on social media.

Irrfan is currently recovering from the Neuroendocrine Tumour that he was diagnosed with in March and is undergoing a treatment in the United Kingdom. The actor had confirmed the unfortunate news on his official Twitter handle a couple of months ago.

“Learning that I’ve been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope,” he had written.

Zainab Abbas tweets Irrfan’s picture

Zainab Abbas, the sports presenter from Pakistan, is currently in England to cover the ongoing Test series between the two countries. She posted the picture of the Indian actor enjoying the game in the stands and captioned it as, “Pic shared by @Furqan013 – there’s actor Irfan Khan enjoying the match at Lord’s #ENGvPAK. Twitterati was divided over the picture as some argued that the person could be a look-alike of the Bollywood actor.

But a user by the name Ali Nomi soon cleared that the Irrfan was sitting in front of him only and he also denied to click any pictures with him. “He was sitting in front of me. A few people came and asked him for a picture but he refused.. I think because of his health. He looked really really weak,” the user wrote in his tweet. While the prominent actor is recovering from the disease, his fans are praying for him and hope that he recovers soon.
