Australian star Aaron Finch, who is associated with the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2022, indulged in a Question-Answer session with the fans on social media. KKR started the session with #AskKKR and the Aussie white-ball skipper answering the hilarious questions of the fans.

He was roped in by the franchise as a replacement of England opener Alex Hales who opted out of the tournament quoting bio-bubble fatigue. Finch has joined the KKR camp and will be looking forward to utilizing the opportunity if provided.

Meanwhile, he answered a few interesting questions thrown by people on Twitter. When a user asked him who he thinks plays the best cover drive, he named former India skipper Virat Kohli and Pakistan skipper Babar Azam. “Virat Kohli and Babar Azam – it’s an absolute treat watching the two of these guys play that shot,” Finch said. Both Azam and Kohli play sumptuous cover drives leaving the fans in awe.

Finch is playing for his ninth IPL team

Aaron Finch is playing for his ninth IPL team after making his debut in the cash-rich league back in 2010. When asked about which IPL franchise has he enjoyed being with, after getting cheques from multiple franchises over the past many years, he said: “I’m loving being at KKR. It’s a franchise I have plenty of friends in.” He also named his favourite bowler in the form of former South African pacer Dale Steyn and said that his favourite cricket ground was the Mecca of Cricket – Lord’s.

Aaron Finch surprisingly went unsold in the mega auction this year. Before joining KKR for this season, he led his side in the shorter formats of the game against Pakistan for Australia’s away tour. He led his team to a victory in the one-off T20I, that was played in order to conclude the series.

KKR’s recent assignment did not land in their favour as they were defeated by the Delhi Capitals by 44 runs. But the Shreyas Iyer-led team will be eyeing to get back to their winning form when they face Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next encounter at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on April 15.
