As the India and New Zealand players waited for the ICC World Test Championship final to resume on Day 4, ICC shared a video of Cheteshwar Pujara where the batsman is seen talking about some of his Instagram posts. During the video, India’s no. 3 talked about the time when his wife, Puja, tried to cut his hair but Cheteshwar wasn’t too impressed by the attempt.

For the World Test Championship final, ICC has started a new segment of videos on their social media account. In this category, several Indian and New Zealand players have been seen talking about their favorite Instagram posts and memories related to them. The segment has been hosted by Sanjana Ganesan and the latest to appear in one of the videos was Cheteshwar Pujara.

The post which he was told to talk about was taken during the lockdown phase. In the picture, his wife was seen cutting his hair. Ganesan asks him at the start of the video, “how many times has this happened?”, to which the batsman replied saying, “Only tried this once, after that I never tried it again. It’s not up to the mark. I always like high standards for my hairstyle. She tried her best, it wasn’t bad but could have been better.”

Cheteshwar Pujara calls Australia series win as ‘one of the most memorable’

Further, the Indian batsman was seen talking about his photography skills. He stated that he isn’t the best with the camera but he does enjoy clicking pictures. Pujara also talked about the ability to switch off from cricket, something which he has learned recently. He also spoke about the memorable Test series win in Australia earlier this year, remarking that as one of the most memorable series wins he has been part of.

The Saurashtra batsman didn’t have the best of times with the bat in the final in Southampton. He scored just 8 runs from 54 balls in the first innings and missed out on an opportunity of making a big score in the final. He batted patiently in tough conditions, staying on zero for a long time. Pujara was finally dismissed by Trent Boult with the beautiful inswing which came sharply back at him, getting him out LBW.
