It's about woman's choice what she wants to wear: Mohammad Azharuddin's first wife

Former India skipper Mohammad Azharuddin’s first wife Naureen has supported Mohammad Shami and his wife in the social media controversy that erupted a few days back where Twitter users mocked Shami’s wife, Hasin Jahan, for wearing a gown.

Unlike the wife (Hasin Jahan), Naureen said that never ever faced any controversy for her attire but she also said that no women should be forced to wear a burqa and she should be allowed to wear she feel is appropriate for her.

“Nobody used to wear a burqa in our family during my time with Azhar’s family and there was no compulsion on me as well. I always put on modest clothes,” she said. “The intentions should be clear. No private parts of the body (should) be seen.”

She also added, “By wearing burqa some women feel more confident, liberated and closer to God. At the end of the day it is about a woman’s choice as to what she wants to wear”.

Shami was slammed with the hate comments on Facebook for the picture. Many people posted hate comments on the picture on social media platform Facebook. The key concern of the group of people abusing Shami was the way his wife was dressed up.

Some Islamic clerics also condemned the picture. The Indian fast bowler. However, was not bogged down by all of it and took to social media site Twitter to hit back at all his haters. In a couple of tweets, Shami managed to shut the mouths of all those narrow-minded people who came with disgusting comments on his wife.
