The coronavirus has restricted people’s movement and it has been advised by many to stay at home. With all international cricket been either cancelled or postponed, the cricketers are spending more time at home than ever. Many cricketers have shared their experience of staying at home amidst this situation.

James Anderson is a cricketer who is known to be very disciplined when it comes to the game. The fast bowler has picked up 584 wickets in 151 Tests, but it doesn’t seem that he is planning to stop anytime soon. He is likely to play for the English team in the upcoming home season as well. It seems the determination is so strong that Anderson is training even while he is at home.

The girls are more than happy to help me, says James Anderson

On Wednesday, England bowler James Anderson uploaded a video on Instagram of him training at home. In the video, the pacer seems to be having a great time with his family. It can be seen that Anderson is doing training with the help of his daughters. He could be seen doing bench-presses at his place by picking up both his daughters one by one. He can be spotted lying on the floor while lifting his two daughters in his arms.

The caption on the post read, “The girls are more than happy to help me train at home.” The 37-year-old has two daughters named Lola Rose (11-year-old) and Ruby Luxe (10-year-old) with his wife Daniella Lloyd.

Recently, James Anderson wasn’t picked for the Sri Lankan Test tour. The right-handed pacer came out and expressed his opinion about the same. He said it bothered him not to be on the plane to Sri Lanka. After being injured on the South African tour, Anderson was expected to return in the Sri Lanka series. But, the series was eventually called off due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

According to the well-placed sources, the idea behind not picking James Anderson for the two tests in Sri Lanka was to keep the veteran pacer fit for the English cricket summer 2020. The pacer also revealed that he is training hard to keep himself ready for the county season, where he will play for Lancashire once again.
