Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah has had a herculean career at the international level thus far. It did not take him long to establish himself as one of the best death overs bowler in the world cricket. Currently, he is one of the core members of the Indian team that is gearing up well enough for the ICC World Cup 2019. While the World Cup is still quite some distance away, the preparations of the Indian team look to be in full flow.
They have had a merry time across the three formats of the game. In the ODI cricket, their domination has been supreme. Many termed the Indian side as the home track bullies. But all these claims came to an end when the Indian side recently registered a thumping win in the Port Elizabeth ODI against South Africa. The win gave team India their first ever series win on the South African soil.
They lead the 6-match series 4-1 and the final ODI is set to be played on Friday (February 16, 2018). On the eve of the final ODI, Jasprit Bumrah looked very motivated on the social media. He was quick to share words of wisdom with his fans. He tweeted a motivational quote from popular footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The tweet had a picture of Zlatan and the background was set with words that would inspire almost any aspiring sportsperson. Bumrah certainly drew a lot of inspiration from the post and was hence not shy of quoting the footballer as his ‘idol’ in the tweet.
Here is what Jasprit Bumrah tweeted:
“#WordsOfWisdom #legend #idol #class @Ibra_official,” Jasprit Bumrah tweeted.

Talking about the individual performances, Jasprit Bumrah is the most successful pacer across the two sides in the ongoing series. He has accounted for 6 wickets in the 5 matches of the series thus far. Earlier on the tour, Bumrah had made his Test debut for the Indian team. He also bagged a five wicket haul in his maiden Test series. He will now be hoping to cap off the good tour with an impressive outing in the final ODI at Centurion and then follow it up with a good show in T20Is.
