The picture of Jasprit Bumrah overstepping the line being used by the Jaipur Traffic Police to set an example for traffic violators became viral as plenty of portals posted it on social media. Bumrah, recently, playing against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy final got Fakhar Zaman caught behind but replays suggested that he had overstepped and hence Zaman survived. The Pakistani went on to score a memorable century and subsequently win the game for his side.

Bumrah along with almost all Indians were very upset at this incident. Jaipur police went a step further ahead to illustrate Bumrah’s example to warn people of the consequences of overstepping the line. Since the news caught wind on social media, it also got Bumrah’s attention. He used his Instagram account to lash out at Jaipur Traffic Police for ridiculing him for the mistakes he did on Sunday.

Bumrah captioned the picture as “Well done Jaipur traffic police this shows how much respect you get after giving your best for the country. But don’t worry I won’t make fun of the mistakes which you guys make at your work .because I believe humans can make mistakes.” Clearly, the 23-year-old was not amused at all by the turn of events.

This is a shocker by the traffic police of Jaipur. They shouldn’t pick up on a celebrity’s mistake to warn people of the consequences of violating traffic rules. It is a sensitive matter which involves pride of a young cricketer who has done extremely well for the country.

The right-arm bowler had an outstanding run right through the tournament for India but couldn’t get it going in the finals – he returned with figures of 0/68 off 9 overs. Pakistan crushed India by 180 runs on the back of Fakhar Zaman’s 106-ball 114 and lifted the Trophy for the first time in their history.
