The Indian cricket team is training hard in the nets in Sydney for the Australian tour, starting from November 27 in Sydney. India will resume international cricket after a gap of nine months and will feature in Three One Day Internationals and as many T20I matches followed by a four-match Border Gavaskar Trophy.

As the players assembled on the match field to practice for the upcoming highly-anticipated matches, three players namely Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja and Prithvi Shaw decided to take a break and have some fun. The three cricketers tried to imitate the bowling actions of other veterans.

While the opening batsman Prithvi rolled his arms in the training session to mimic the actions of legendary spinners Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan and India’s Anil Kumble, Bumrah perfectly copied the bowling action of teammate Jadeja. Jaddu, on the other hand, decided to return the favour, as he bowled in Bumrah’s style.

The video of the three players having fun in the nets with the ball was uploaded by the official Twitter handle of the Indian cricket team. While uploading the clip, the handle left it upon the viewers to guess the bowlers the three players are imitating.

Bumrah, Shaw and Jadeja’s campaign in IPL 2020

All three players Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Prithvi Shaw were last seen playing in the just-concluded 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). While Shaw IPL franchise Delhi Capitals finished the season as the runners-up, Bumrah’s team Mumbai Indians managed to lift the cup for the record-fifth time.

Jadeja’s Chennai Super Kings, on the other hand, had a torrid run in IPL 2020 as they finished at the second-last position on the points table with 12 points. Both Bumrah and Jadeja had a good IPL 2020 as the former picked 27 wickets in 15 matches and finished second to Kagiso Rabada in terms of taking most wickets in the tournament.

Jadeja also had 6 wickets under his belt in 14 matches along with scoring 232 runs with the willow. Shaw, on the other hand, had a forgettable campaign in the league as he could aggregate just 228 runs in 13 matches and thus was dropped from the playing XI towards the business end.
