The finest next-generation talent in the Indian Women’s team Jemimah Rodrigues is the jolliest person off the field. However, the demeanor of Jemimah becomes extremely serious when she goes out to bat on the field. The top-order batswoman, who has till now represented India in 16 ODIs and 44 T20 Internationals scoring 372 and 930 runs respectively, has become the second most reliable player for the Indian team after the opening batsman Smriti Mandhana.

Jemimah is quite active on her social networking sites and keeps interacting with her fans or posting about her daily activities. On September 9 (Wednesday), the 20-year-old took to her official Twitter handle to flash her full set of pearly white teeth. The cricketer finally got rid of her dental braces and now her teeth are free of any metal clamps.

Celebrating this happiness, Jemimah shared a video in which she can be seen happily grooving to ‘Sunday Morning Love You’ by YouTuber Bhim Niroula. The cricketer tweeted, “THEY’RE OFFF!!”

There are two different Jemis: Jemimah Rodrigues

Last month, while speaking on the Indian Express Facebook Live session, Jemimah had shed light on her contrasting personalities on and off the field. Off the pitch, the Mumbai-born is an easy-going and fun-loving person. However, when she is representing India, she turns into a completely silent person whose only focus is to win games for the country.

Explaining her different sides of personalities, the top-order player said that she is the bubbly live wire off the field and the quiet batsman who does not like to speak much when playing.

“There are two different Jemis. If you see me when I bat and if you see me off the field, I am two completely different people. Away from the field, even in the dressing room, I am bubbly, a live wire. But when I have to enter the field, I like to get into my zone. I don’t like talking much,” Rodrigues had said.

“I have tried having conversations while batting but I have realized that it doesn’t suit my personality. What gets the best out of me is to be in my zone. My personality is that I don’t talk much when batting. So that’s the only time my teammates see me being quiet,” she added.
