Joe Root, Chris Woakes and Moeen Ali to play for their county teams

England lost the fourth and final Test match of the series against Pakistan to level the series 2-2, and ahead of the ODI series, most of the international cricketers are about to feature for their respective counties in the quarter-finals of Royal London ODI Cup on August 17 and 18, and the final day of T20 Blast on August 20.
Despite, the Test series ending up in a draw, Moeen Ali and Chris Woakes had a memorable series with both bat and ball as the duo was highly impressive in the series for the home side. Ali and Woakes will play in the 50-overs quarter-final games for Worcestershire and Warwickshire respectively on Wednesday.
Yorkshire will take on Kent in their quarter-final clash on Thursday and Yorkshire will have the services of some of the key international players in the likes of the star batsman Joe Root, wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow and Gary Ballance.
This will be an important season for Stuart Broad as he is looking to make his way back to the limited-overs side. Alex Hales who hasn’t fired with the bat in the Test series will be looking forward to making a mark when he turns up for Nottinghamshire in the T20 competition

However, the England Test skipper Alastair Cook will not feature for Essex in the county championship as the team management asked him to take a break.

August 18: Northamptonshire v Surrey; Kent v Yorkshire
T20 Blast Final day fixtures (August 20):
Semifinal 1: Nottinghamshire v Northamptonshire
Semifinal 2: Durham v Yorkshire
