Jofra Archer’s tweets, which were made quite a few years ago, have been found to have eerie connections with some incidents in the recent times. Things started since he made his debut for England around a year, and his spooky tweets kept surfacing. Even as most of them have been relating to cricket, similarity with some other occurrings have also been found.

Recently, the prices of crude oil in the United States of America (USA) have gone down significantly due to the massive coronavirus outbreak. The effect has been daunting to the extent that the prices have turned negative. The same has gone below $0 a barrel. The price of a barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI), fell as low as minus $37.63.

Way back on March 8, 2013, the 25-year-old Archer put up a tweet where he expressed concerns about oil. “Sumbodi care bout oil” Archer’s tweet read.

Here is Jofra Archer’s tweet

“This is off-the-charts wacky. The demand shock was so massive that it’s overwhelmed anything that people could have expected. I’m really not optimistic about the prospects for oil companies or oil prices” Stewart Glickman, an energy equity analyst at CFRA Research, was quoted as saying in BBC.

Coronavirus wreaking havoc in the United States

The novel COVID-19, which emerged from the Chinese city of Wuhan, has spit a significant amount of venom on the US. Nearly 8,00,000 cases have been reported from there with over 42,600 people losing their precious lives. Around 72,000 have recovered though. In the US, the city of New York has been the most affected with the death tolls nearing 14,000 and cases above 2,42,780.

Worldwide, there have been over 24,78,153 with the ungodly virus accounting for the lives of 1,70,000. Currently, most part of the world is in a lockdown and directives of staying sanitized and indoors have been circulated.

As far as Archer is concerned, he has had a meteoric rise. The speedster bowled the Super Over in the final of the 2019 World Cup at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. Then in the very next month, he made his Test debut at the very venue after James Anderson’s injury. In that series, he smashed Steve Smith below the helmet due to which the latter went into concussion.
