Jofra Archer and his prophecy on Twitter go along way. His old tweets are becoming a talking point every now and then. This time around vintage Jofra’s seven-year-old tweet on the power outage in Mumbai has gone viral like anything and literally, this has left everyone stunned. Rather there are two more tweets from the pace bowler that relate to the current scenario.

The cricketer is currently in the UAE featuring for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). But he is trending at the moment in India due to the sudden power outage in Mumbai which has caused troubles to the city. This is not the first time that Archer’s old tweets have found resemblance to the current happenings across the world and every time a new tweet comes up hilariously.

“Lights Out,” Jofra Archer had tweeted back in March 2013 in some other context and the netizens have found it now which is exactly related to Mumbai’s power outage on Monday morning.

Mumbai deserve it, Jofra Archer had said in 2014

To make it more hilarious, Jofra Archer also has a couple of tweets related to Mumbai and they have also gone viral. “Mumbai deserve it,” he had tweeted on May 25, 2014. This tweet seems like a witty dig at Mumbaikars over the current power outage. However, when we researched a bit more, it was understood that on May 25, Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL Qualifier and had made it to the final.

“Mumbai gone,” this is the third and last tweet from Jofra Archer that has left everyone baffled. Even this tweet finds resemblance over the current scenario in the Financial Capital of India. He had tweeted this on September 16, 2014 and on the same day, Mumbai had suffered incessant rains and the news seemed to have reached the cricketer in the Caribbean.

In whichever context he might have made these tweets, but Jofra Archer’s old tweets are a thing to savour and it is keeping the netizens entertained who are coming up with hilarious memes.
