Cricket doppelgangers are quite popular and several have been seen in recent times. One of the more popular doppelgangers that have been found is of Rohit Sharma. A man was seen in Pakistan drinking what is presumably juice. The image of it was shared by a person online which then caught up with everyone.

The man in the picture looked very similar to the Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma and the whole internet went gaga over it. However, it was a special tweet from one of Rohit’s former teammates that is now doing rounds on the internet. Harbhajan Singh shared the same picture of the doppelganger which has since caught up with the fans.

While sharing the picture, Harbhajan also poked some fun at Rohit. He wrote in the caption, “Kabhi chai pe hame bi bulao shaana @ImRo45,” which translates to ‘Invite me on tea someday,’ with ‘shanna’ being Rohit’s nickname in the Indian dressing room from during his younger days.

Harbhajan Singh and Rohit Sharma have been long teammates for the Indian team and Mumbai Indians

Harbhajan and Rohit have played a lot of cricket together with the former overseeing the Mumbai batter’s early struggles in international cricket. Both of them have played under each other’s captaincy during their time at Mumbai Indians. Harbhajan was part of the franchise from 2008 to 2017 while Rohit joined in 2011.

Harbhajan has since played for Chennai Super Kings for two seasons. He missed in the IPL in the 2020 season and was later left out by CSK. He was picked up for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2021 but has played only three matches during the Indian leg. He has not played a single game in the UAE leg. He didn’t pick up a wicket in those three games.

Even if Harbhajan doesn’t add another game to his IPL career, he would be one of the best spinners to have played in the tournament on a regular basis. He played 163 matches and picked up 150 wickets with an economy of 7.07. He also led Mumbai Indians to a win in the now-defunct Champions League T20, way back in 2011. Harbhajan further led them in the 2012 season as well.
