Both sides met a few days back in match no. 11 in Pallekele where the Falcons defeated Aura by a huge margin of 77 runs courtesy of a half-century from Kamindu Mendis which earned him the Player of the Match award.

Strugglers Dambulla is in the fifth spot with a terrible net run rate of -1.6.
The Falcons have defeated the Jaffna Kings twice and registered a win each against Galle Gladiators, Colombo Stars, and Dambulla. Their only loss came against the Gladiators by 12 runs in Pallekele. On the other hand, Dambulla is having a disastrous campaign as they suffered defeats in five games leaving just last game where they dominated Galle Gladiators. Jaffna and Colombo have beaten Dambulla twice while Kandy also managed to inflict a loss on them in their last meeting as mentioned above. (All scenarios till Match no. 15)
