The Indian cricket team has been busy in preparations with regards to the ongoing Australian series. The visitors managed to whitewash India in the recently concluded T20 international series. Kedar Jadhav who wasn’t a part of the T20I squad will be making his presence in the One-Day International series commencing from today.

The 33-year-old has been vouching for the middle order spot. With his ability to pace the innings according to the situation and some handy unorthodox bowling, Jadhav is likely to get the backing. Yesterday, the Chennai Super Kings cricketer decided to post a picture of him in a fashionable avatar posing with his bike on his Instagram account.

However, his fellow teammates found this as an opportunity to troll the cricketer. Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma was the first person as he commented Race 4 on Kedar’s post. Hardik Pandya joined the bandwagon as he addressed him as ‘Bhai, bhai apna sab ka bhai Kedar bhai’. Shikhar Dhawan didn’t want to miss the fun as he too nicknamed Kedar after his favourite actor Salman Khan.

Here is Kedar’s original post:

The cricketer took it quite sportingly. He mentioned that Hardik was being missed in the squad. The all-rounder was ruled out of the Australian series following his back injury. Shikhar Dhawan, on the other hand, hasn’t been going through a great patch. Rohit has been in decent touch and will be looking forward to displaying his mettle in home conditions.

With the World Cup less than three months away, the Australia series is India’s last international assignment. While the IPL may have an impact in the team selection, an opportunity to step up will rarely be missed. In the last two years, Team India has lost just one bilateral ODI series against England last year. This just explains the dominance of the No.2 ranked team in this format.
