Indian all-rounder Kedar Jadhav inaugurates MS Dhoni's store in Surat

Amidst cheers from fans, Indian all-rounder Kedar Jadhav inaugurated the ‘Seven’ store at Surat. The ceremony took place at the city’s brand new outlet of MS Dhoni’s lifestyle brand on Wednesday. This was a brand new venture for the company after having launched its store in Ajmer on November 19.

MS Dhoni’s venture into the fashion world saw the inception of ‘Seven’ as a break-through Indian lifestyle brand that deals in casual and sportswear clothing and footwear. The popular brand has the former India captain as its Brand Ambassador as well as part-owner. It has stores in Ranchi and Ajmer, along with online delivery services and product availability at malls in various major cities.

Kedar Jadhav cuts the ribbon to inaugurate ‘Seven” Store

The Twitter handle of ‘Seven’ had been actively posting pictures in building up to the inaugural of the Surat outlet. Starting from Kedar Jadhav’s arrival snap at the Surat airport to capturing the awaiting crowd at the venue, live pictures were available at the brand’s page on the micro-blogging site. Evident from the pictures, a large crowd had assembled to behold the Indian cricketing star and Kedar Jadhav did not disappoint as he cut the ribbon to inaugurate the store. The 32-year old cricketer also obliged fans and clicked pictures with them.

MS Dhoni‘s brand was introduced in February, 2016 in collaboration with RS Seven Lifestyle and since then the brand has grown in leaps and bounds. While the clothing and fashion accessory section of the brand is owned by RS Seven Lifestyle, the footwear section of the brand is owned by Dhoni, himself. Interestingly, the brand name is significant as it has been conceptualised to co-incide with MSD’s ODI and T20 playing jersey number, 7. Apart from India, the brand also has distributors in the United States and the Middle East.
