On December 22, 2020, Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian leg-spin bowler, decided to tie the knots with his fiancée Dhanashree Verma. The duo got engaged back in the first week of August when Chahal wasn’t involved in any form of cricket due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The year 2020 has been a witness to a lot of gloomy and dreaded moments for people all over the world. But as they say, ‘all’s well that ends well’. Chahal indeed had a happy ending to the year and he would now be engaged in more responsibilities in his family.

Chahal uploaded a picture where he can be seen, smiling at his loved-one will all the heart. He captioned the picture and wrote, “22.12.20 We started at “Once Upon A Time” and found “Our Happily Ever After,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond! “

In the meantime, Rohit congratulated them for their journey ahead. Rohit lauded them and wrote, “Congratulations bro, best wishes to both of you. Keep those googlies for opposition not her, “

Chahal had an outstanding outing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in Indian Premier League, though his team couldn’t make the finals. The tweaker was their leading wicket-taker, but RCB were knocked out after their defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator.

Chahal had a rough time in the ODI series against Australia. But in the first T20I at the Manuka Oval in Canberra, he came in as a concussion substitute for Ravindra Jadeja and became the Player of the Match. He picked up three crucial wickets, taking India to a victory. He isn’t a part of the Test series that India are currently trailing by 0-1.

As far as Rohit is concerned, he landed in Australia for the Tests around a week ago. At the present point in time, he’s serving a 14-day quarantine period in a two-bedroom flat in Sydney. He hasn’t even started training yet. Rohit would be available for selection from the SCG Test, which starts on January 7. Rohit didn’t play the ODIs and T20Is due to a hamstring injury.
