Kevin Pietersen lauds Virushka for their efforts and calls them role models

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma form one of the ideal celebrity couples going around. Both of them got married in December last year at a scenic venue in Italy and have been living together happily since then. On Saturday, the Bollywood Diva got livid over the person who threw the garbage on the road by sitting in the car. Kohli posted the video of the same and tried to spread more awareness about keeping the surroundings clean. However, Kevin Pietersen has lauded the efforts of the duo and believed it is the way to go.

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, had launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaign back in 2014 and had urged the people to make the nation clean. But some people still don’t have the sense of using a dustbin which made Anushka furious it seems.

In the video which Virat posted, it could be seen that she was thrashing the person sitting in the car for throwing the plastic garbage on the road. She insisted him to use the dustbin from next time instead. Her husband posted the video on social media platforms and made the fans and followers aware of the same.

He captioned the video with the message which read, “Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma.”

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma had become a meme material on the social media as Kohli vented his anger at them as well terming that the people don’t have the courage to stop someone from doing such things but have time to make a joke of such incidents. But there were also some who praised the celebrity couple for their efforts. The famous Bollywood director Karan Johar was the first to lauded his colleague.

The former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen also praised Virushka for their sincere efforts. He responded to the video posted on Instagram and wrote, “BOOM. Outstanding. That’s how to be a role model. Well done, you two!”
