The Ben Stokes fiasco has left the entire cricketing fraternity in shock as the English all-rounder was arrested for engaging into a tussle with few people. Kevin Pietersen, the former England captain, has responded on this issue and is puzzled about media reports on Alex Hales. Most the newspapers and news channels in England have reported that Alex Hales was trying to make peace.

Kevin Pietersen posted a video on his official Facebook handle and in the video, Hales and Stokes clearly were furious with the other bunch. When the other person tried to pull Hales’ shirt, Stokes went all out on that person and they both rolled on the ground exchanging few blows. The

Exactly at this point, Hales repeatedly kept kicking the person (who was brought down by Stokes) on his head. Stokes continued and punched the other two people ferociously. This has been the major talking point in all of England and across the cricketing world. England lost the services of both these cricketers in the 4th ODI against West Indies as well.

He should come out of this worse

Pietersen believes that Alex Hales should be penalized for his actions as well, rather than reporting that he’s making peace between the two polarized parties. He wrote, “How are they reporting that Alex Hales is trying to be the peacemaker here? He REPEATEDLY KICKS the guy in the head on the ground?! He should come out of this worse IMO (In my opinion)!”

The English vice-captain also has reportedly apologized to the ECB and has been left “devastated and fragile”, the BBC revealed. The Sun also reported that a stranger who witnessed this brawl on the street said that Stokes had punched the person around 15 times inside a minute and no wonder he broke his finger.

This case is taking some serious twists and turns and not many are sure as to how this will end. With Ashes coming up in a few months, this is probably the worst thing that could’ve happened and given Stokes is sentenced to jail and he misses out on Ashes, England will find it incredibly difficult to cope with his loss.

Here’s what KP had posted.
