The final league match of IPL 2020 took place between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians. During their do or die contest, David Warner and his team came out with flying colours. In order to book their playoffs berth, Hyderabad crushed defending champions by 10 wickets. This was Mumbai’s biggest loss of the season as the bowling unit failed utterly to scalp a single wicket. Rohit Sharma marked his resumption in the team in this match after nursing his hamstring injury.

In meanwhile, Caribbean star Kieron Pollard was leading the MI team and helped them seal the top slot in the points tally. After the match with SRH, the vice-captain of Mumbai, Pollard, has come up with a scathing statement on his Twitter profile. It has left people wondering as to where the all-rounder is pointing out his comments.

“I’d rather have an enemy who admits they hate me, instead of a friend who secretly puts me down,” read Pollard’s post.

He shared the same post on Instagram as well, and people wondered, whom he was taking a dig at. Some users suggested that he might be indicating to Jason Holder as he has taken the captaincy charge from him in the limited-overs format. While some said, he is pointing at Rohit Sharma, who just returned to the game in the last match. A user stated clearly that he was talking about Sharma- “Enough evidences from the past to prove that he is talking about Rohit Sir,” wrote one Twitter user.

Pollard stepped in the captain’s shoe when Rohit was knocked off from the playing XI of Mumbai Indians due to a hamstring injury. There were also reports which suggested he is unfit currently and would miss the entire IPL 2020. The hamstring injury weighed him down in the match against KXIP, which went on till two Super Overs. The defending champions are set to lock horns with Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League 2020.
