Kiwi skipper Brendon McCullum writes a heart felt letter to Indian fans asking for support in the World Cup finals: In the pre-final press conference, Brendon McCullum said that he’s confident that the Indian fans will be rooting for the Kiwis.

India may have lost to Australia in the semi-finals of the World Cup 2015, but it seems that the Indian fans have some more cheering to do as the tournament enters its final match. The Kiwis have taken note of the support that they are getting from the Indian fans, as they are the favorites of every neutral cricket fan in the world.

New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum has acknowledged the fact that he might have just more than a few Kiwis rooting for him when he takes on Australia in the finals at the MCG. McCullum said, “I reckon we might have the home crowd tomorrow actually. I think it’s probably no secret that most of the other teams around the world would probably fair New Zealand to win against Australia. So hopefully we’ll get a good smattering of support tomorrow, and I’m sure the Indian guys will certainly be rooting for us.”

The Kiwi skipper took the emotional route to gather support from the Indian cricket fans from around the world by penning a heartwarming letter, asking for the support of the world’s most passionate cricket fans for this historic final. McCullum knows that he needs support and cheers from everyone possible, when they fight Australia to lift their first ever World Cup title.
