Saud Shakeel is only 25 years old and has only played 2 ODI matches for Pakistan, but he is already in the news for something away from the field. After his debut for Pakistan, many fans feel that Shakeel resembles Indian cricket captain and batting legend Virat Kohli.

On the cricketing front, Shakeel did a good job for the Pakistan side with the willow in the 2nd ODI. He was the highest run-scorer for his side in the second rubber and scored a sedate 56 off 77 deliveries. He scored 4 boundaries in his knock.

In the 2nd ODI between England and Pakistan, the England side thrashed their opponents and won the match comfortably by 52 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.

And, social media is abuzz with the similarities in the looks of Virat Kohli and Saud Shakeel. One fan stated that Pakistan has now found its very own Virat Kohli, while another posted a picture of Shakeel and tweeted that Kohli has come to rescue the Pakistan side.

Yet another fan tweeted that while the entire world was busy watching football, Kohli was playing for the Pakistan side. Another fan posted the picture of Saud Shakeel and tweeted that Kohli is still in search of his 71st international hundred. All in all, Shakeel is already famous in the world of cricket for his resemblance with Virat Kohli.

As far as Virat Kohli is concerned, the legendary Indian batsman was last seen in action in the summit clash of the World Test Championship between India and New Zealand. In the two innings that he batted, Kohli scored 44 and 13.

Virat Kohli will next be seen in action when India takes on England in a five-match Test series, that will get underway in the month of August. The hugely awaited Test series between the two heavyweights will begin on 4th August 2021, at Nottingham.
