Kolkata Police orders Mohammed Shami for interrogation

The last one and half month from Mohammed Shami have been disastrous from the personal front. Hasin Jahan, his wife alleged her for match-fixing. extra-marital, domestic violence and delivering death threats. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and it’s bodies like the Anti Corruption Unit (ACU) and the Committee of Administrators (CoA) tried their hearts out to churn out pieces of evidence.

However, Shami managed to get a clean chit as they weren’t able to churn out enough proof against Shami. However, Hasin Jahan didn’t drop the gun and kept fighting. Recently, she filed a complaint of domestic violence against him and subsequently, the Kolkata Police has asked the Indian fast-bowler to attend an interrogation as per reports in ANI. Shami is currently in the city for their game against KKR.

Meanwhile, Hasin Jahan has also demanded Rs 10 Lakh maintenance fee per month for her and her daughter. Prior to that she even met Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal as well as CK Khanna, the acting president of the BCCI. Previously, Shami’s career landed in the doldrums as his contract for the Indian team was withheld and his participation in the IPL also came under the clouds.

Shami affirmed his innocence and asked for the investigations to be completed at the earliest as it had turned into a detriment in his career.
