KRK compares Dhoni and Tendulkar biopics, posts multiple updates on Sachin's release

Bollywood actor Kamaal Rashid Khan, aka KRK, has made it a point to be in the news with his weird and unusual takes on the trending issues. He is one of the most active celebrities on the social media platform Twitter but not the most adored one. Some believe his tweets are baseless, while other often term it a publicity gimmick. His most recent attempt was for the movie release Sachin: A Billion Dreams.

The biopic was one of the most awaited movie releases this year. Sachin Tendulkar has been a legend of the game and it came as no surprise why the fans eagerly waited for the big release. The movie had a great opening on the day 1 at the box office on May 26. It managed to garner almost INR 9 crore to feature in the top 10 list of best opening day grossers of the 2017.

Word on MS Dhoni’s biopic

KRK seemed to be on a tweeting spree about the movie. In his first tweet, he wrote that the biopic got a bigger opening than the biopic release of MS Dhpni despite no big star in the movie. He went on to add that the success of MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was because of the cricketer’s stardom and not the actor. Sushant Singh Rajput, who had played the titular role in MS Dhoni biopic, will see his fortunes after Raabta.

Not for an ordinary viewer

He further noted that some reviews suggest that the Sachin’s biopic is not for an ordinary viewer but only for Sachin fans. KRK wrote, “According to reports #SachinABillionDream is a fantastic film for fans of @sachin_rt but it’s nothing for the ppl who will go to watch film.”

More biopics to follow?

KRK then hinted that if the biopic goes on to be a successful one, then the other cricketers like Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, and Kapil Dev will also be seen coming up with their biopics soon. He tweeted, “If Sachin’s documentary will do such a fantastic business then Kapil, Sehwag, Kohli, Gambhir n all others will make their documentary soon.”

KRK’s biopic

Lastly, he did not shy away from saying that his biopic would be the best one since it will have all the entertainment quotient needed for a big release. KRK wrote, “Still nobody else biography can be more interesting than mine which has all Masala lik sex, crime, romance, undrworld, busines, Bollywd etc.”
